Today’s Blessing
I had my 38 week check up today, and everything is looking good. I had an ultrasound to make sure the baby is head down, and we also got to see the heart beating and some of the limbs. I also had an internal exam to see if anything is happening yet. I am 2cm dilated and 40% effaced. That sounds like a lot to me, but apparently it’s considered normal. So the waiting game continues.

As I have done before, I passed up the closest parking spaces at the medical center and parked in the empty section further away, leaving the closer spaces for those that really need them. I have to say, with the heat today and the way I’m feeling, I really wanted to park close today!
